day in the park

day in the park

A Poem by laliepop

Soft and slow the wind twirls,
Swaying the hair of the nearby girls,
The perfect sun reaching out to all,
The giant oak trees standing stern and tall,
The scent of the freshly cut green grass,
Tingles the noses of all who pass,
The sound of the epic pimpin sport,
The beat of the ball thudding the court,
A flapping of wings coming from above,
But don't be alarmed its only a dove,
A day in the park is so peaceful and calm,
Until i receive a sting on my palm,
I peak down to find I've been stung by a bee.
But that really didn't bother me,
nature has a way of working things out,
So have faith in your world and don't start to doubt.
