Nonsense

Just some nonsense

This cold winters breath
Has kissed me for my taste
And found me uninviting
Has left me here to waste

I'm chosen over no one
But not forgotten on my cue
Instead I stand, left behind
Haunting but a few

Time is my companion
And we travel without haste
Lazy as we languish
No challenge that we faced

But here I am, I must go
Walk into this too
Alone but not forgotten
Just an ever changing hue

Have you ever been published? I forsee you becoming the new Walt Whitman or Robert Frost. Your words are so beautiful and they flow in such a rhythm that brings music to my ears. I absolutely love your work.

Oh wow, thank you very much! Honestly I don't believe I'm even close to comparable to those two legends but thank you! I've published a short story on Amazon and Smashwords but never published my poetry. I never thought anyone would pay to read it. I am working on a poetry compilation book of some of the poems I post on here to be published using CreateSpace but that's just for the heck of it
