Ok first of all, I loved the "petty merry-go-round" line because it seems that in younger relationships, be it friends or significant others, we always find ourselves arguing over the most petty bullshit ever. Ok next, my favorite line in this was "with ice on your fingers, ceramic skin touch" where did you get that idea? I think of touching a doll's cold face after not have been touched for awhile. Is that where you got it from? I really liked that line the most. It was so descriptive and cryptic and the words were placed beautifully. Anyway, thank you for sharing this with me. I really enjoyed reading it and I can't wait to read more.

Often times, I believe, that it takes much more than just love. Sad but true

Well love is a verb that requires a lot of work. Often people either don't know how, or don't try hard enough.

And sometimes people just aren't compatible, despite love. Too different, unaccepting, etc. A slew of reasons than can transcend love to wreck a relationship. Sometimes you try so hard for so long that it just completely wrecks you and in loves place, resentment grows

how sad that love isn't enough in this situation. sometimes it just isn't, and you are stuck on a loop in your merry go round. Very well expressed...lovely flow. when it is just more of the same, what can you do but try and escape the mire. you have a great way with words.

Very astute observation, you're correct in your assumption. Quite a reoccurring theme in my life and it's getting pretty old.
