Crossed Lines

Crossed Lines

A Poem by Levi
"

Descriptive poem

"
Either counting down days or counting up
People are obsessed with their calendar x's
Everything timed precisely
Our lives become a machine
Greased up by our stress
Everybody seems to need it
That red ink that shows you made it through another day of being human
Weigh the pros and cons
It really doesn't matter
Would you die if you deviated for one day
I dare you not to look at it for a day
You can't do it
Not unless you're truly free
Which no one is

Nicely writeen poem, which describes the truth of life clearly and the way in which we stress ourselves up about things that hardly matter. Well Done!

Dark and real.. I love your creative style
"Our lives become a machine
Greased up by stress"
The imagery is just brilliant.

Great job!!
