The lovely Dream

I hear you in my thoughts,

I see you in my dream,

I feel you all around me,

though you are nowhere near.

The  breths I brethe,

the steps I take.

Am I coming closer to you?

Or am I running in the wrong direction?

I feel my heart pounding,

my blood races through my veins.

The feel of your touch sets my skin a flame.

I see the fire in your eyes soften into love.

You are the first to say it.

Saying I love you only scares you.

I want you, I need you, I love you my dear.

You get on one knee and propose.

I say yes, we start a family.

then I wake up and you take one look at me,

and go the opposite way.

It was all a dream.
