Rollercoaster

Rollercoaster

A Poem by Elaine

Frozen over

melted down

flown up

shot down

pulped to pieces

stitched by hand

soft as silk;

gainy sand

set on fire

burned to ash

scooped up

placed in glass

broken up

torn apart

ripped inside, left to die...

this broken heat

Beautiful. Side note, I read the about you on your profile, and I also lost my mom (and my dad) at a young age, but I didn't start writing poetry or start any kind of self expression until a long time later. I think it's amazing that you have such expressive, high quality poems, and they seem very introspective. I would love to see them all together in a collection published somewhere. :) Do you mind reviewing my poem? http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/luckylifetwo/529960/
