A Poem by Elaine

As the sun is coming up, the black sky starts to turn a golden blue, the day begins and she knows the night is through. As she opens her golden eyes she can see the burning sun, the light slowly creeping onto her face revealing everyone. The stone gray sky is glistening from the first fallen rain, helping wash away her worry along with her pain. The secrecy of the perfect aqua sky is calling out to her so she spreads her wings, and takes off to fly. Her wings have a silver lining smoother then silk, gleaming from the moon, tomorrow it will start over, hopefully tomorrow is soon.
