In PassionA Poem by Lady ShadeLoving HimIn passion I find laughter Because my soul feels blessed And my heart complete Sunshine Awakens in my blood Bringing joy To a wintered spirit Delight A type of magick Invoked by love And something beyond words Together There is a fever So decadent I never want to escape it Together I find a peace I had not known before A salvation in your arms In defining us I see a future That conquers any fairytale Makes the days and nights Blur into a perfect infinity Your hands across my flesh Unadulterated fire Sweet passion Gentle love A sense of wholeness And happiness So much I want to give you Share with you Be with you If only I could catch the stars And tie the moon in a bow Even that gift would not be able to show How much I love you The days we are apart I see you in my mind Feel the softness of your breath against my neck The warmth of your hand in mine That soft glittering smile captured in your eyes And the way you tell me you love me And I can feel that you mean it And that it isn’t simply careless use of words I watch you work so hard To be the man you dream of being But know that I love you now And don’t demand that you be any more than who you are For it is you I love Not your job Or your pocketbook Not what you can do for me Or give to me Nothing beyond the magick that I feel when you touch me That electricity that rips through me when you kiss me The way my body seems to melt and fit perfectly against yours The way I can simply sit and laugh with you And be blissful And complete And know that I’m not alone And that you are there When even the darkest of my past threatens me I believe in you Trust Love And dare to prove those around us wrong © 2010 Lady ShadeReviews
