A Christmas Poem

I actually wrote this poem on December 23rd, 2009.....guess I forgot to put it up

"A Christmas Poem"

Lights on the Christmas tree,

Stockings hung in rows.

Gifts brought by Santa,

All with red and green bows.

 

Many hugs and kisses,

When family is at the door.

With smiles on their faces,

Bearing gifts galore.

 

The laughter continues,

As hearts become one.

To celebrate His birth,

And to have a little fun.

 

But as it gets late,

Children's faces glow bright.

They wait for dear Santa,

To come into sight.

 

Then on Christmas morning,

The world comes together.

To celebrate love,

Forever and ever.
