Midnight Madness

Midnight Madness

A Poem by Kayla

Midnight madness,

Darkness in the sky.

Twinkling stars,

The moon climbs high.

Sagittarius is half horse,

And Cancer is a crab.

Gemini are twins,

And Libra aint bad.

Aries in March,

Virgo in August.

Aquarius and Pisces,

Are wet but won't rust.

Leo is a lion,

And Scorpio is king.

The stars cross our sky,

In half of a ring.

Capricorn the ram,

And Taurus the bull.

With all these cool stars,

The sky must be full.

Throughout the year,

Zodiacs cross the sky.

All the while,

That moon is still high.

Beautifully descriptive and so vivid in your expressions of the stars in their appointed paths across the sky. I love to walk at night and look up, and your poem helps me glimpse that wonder even inside!

I enjoyed this read. I love the last part.

"Throughout the year,
Zodiacs cross the sky.
All the while,
That moon is still high.'

Very creative.
