Halloween

Halloween

A Poem by Kayla

Darkness has spread,

It's time to awaken the dead.

Zombies, witches, and ghouls,

Vampires with fangs and werewolves that drool.

Arise from their graves,

To cause terror and misbehave.

Children scream with fright,

As monsters come into sight.

Those creatures that haunt,

They laugh and they taunt.

On Halloween night,

Before it becomes light.

This is so cute! This is a poem I would adore reading to my children on Halloween. You've captured such a playful feeling in this poem and it really is absolutely fantastic. I love it!
