VampireA Poem by KaylaThe streets are dark, The air is still. The sounds are silent, I get a chill. My heart becomes frigid, I am frozen in place. Fear overwhelms me, For he moves with such grace. As he comes near, My fear disappears. He bends down low, And nips my neck. The sensations grow, Ones of dread and death. I succumb to his mind, Leaving life behind. To join his league of the undead, Making sure that blood keeps me fed. © 2009 KaylaAuthor's Note
