Who Said Two Is Better Than One?
A Poem by Alana McGuire
It's a bit short and similar to another piece I have here, but I hope you enjoy the meaning and whatnot. :)
Two
Christmases, two times the gifts.. Vs. my heart broken into two lofty
pieces that no holiday gift could ever mend. Temporary gifts don't mend
permanent divorces, and no pair of shaded sunglasses could keep me from
seeing everything you did to each other.. No new pair of headphones can
keep me from hearing all the words you're screaming, swearing this time
you mean it and you're gone. This time is, "I don't love you." This time is goodbye. This year I have two families. And two pieces of a heart.

Reviews are fine! I may end up adding to this later and changing the format. So please keep that in mind. :)
