Even though everyone tells me to stay away from you, and that you are no good for me

I just don't care, as you, have taken my heart prisoner, in a cage you possess, and never again will my heart be free

People don't know you as I do, I look at them praying they will understand I am in love with you, all of you hear my heart felt plea

I was born, destined to be with you, in my very being, I know this was meant to be.

 

People think you are eccentric, because they only see you around at night

My parents always grill me about this, telling me something here is very strange

But I understand, I know who and what you are, I just want to hold onto you so very tight

My parents think where you are concerned I am blind, I have even heard from their lips the word deranged.

 

But I don't care, they don't understand, it's like they don't care how deeply for you I care

Their non support of me in this matter, well it really breaks my heart

So now I am forced to make a choice, one to me, that is not at all, really fair

They try to think of every way on Earth, just to keep us apart.

 

I am only eighteen, but I know the feelings within my heart, they are true

You have came to me many times, I have never met any one like you

Many times you could have harmed me, but the choice you leave it up to me, this tells me you feelings for me are true

I know I have to make a choice, I know my choices in this matter, well they are very few.

 

I think of what life would be without you, the reality of this, I just can't face

If I join you, to everything I know now, I will have to say good bye

See, I have a problem, these feelings for you, I just can't erase

I know to join you, from my mortal life, I know I will have to die.

 

Tonight when you come to me, I will tell you my choice has been made

I will join you, becoming a member of the legions of the undead

I have to choose you, even though I'm young I know my love for you will never fade
