On A Breeze

If every one knew the real truth about our history, all history books would have to be rewritten
We are all lead to believe that primitive man did some extraordinary things
Then we all question, how were these simple people such extraordinary men?
Archaeologists and anthropologists alike, run across things, the rational answers they just can't bring.

Imhotep, Socrates, Plato, Galileo, these are just among the few, that questions seen to remain about
How did these ordinary men, from such a primitive time, achieve such feats as they did?
There had to be others, that helped them, to me in this there remains no doubt
I think man doesn't know all, I think certain things for us, the real answers, are hidden, the real answers still remain in history's jar, tightly kept secret by the very tight lid.

Atlantis, Alexandria, Manchu Picchu, just to name a few, I think they all existed, even thought every one thinks Atlantis is just myth and lore
The other cities, trapped between space and time, some of them still exists, and we are in awe, of the marvels, ancient man achieved
These things that have survived through time, exploring them, questions we just have more
To me the modern explanations brought forth, to me just can't be believed.

Scholars, I believe know more than we are lead to believe
Take time to think about it, the explanations, we think we know, but explanations, just don't explain everything and all
I have a need to know the truth, something solid, that I can believe
Some things just don't add up, it's like scholars are afraid to let us know all.

Just like in Mayan lore, it is said a white man helped them achieve their fantastic goals
For some reason, this man left them, and then the conquistadors appeared, them looking European, they were welcomed with open arms
Then the beginning of the end for them occurred, the Spanish on their civilization, their presence really took a toll
Then they just abandoned their home, everything they loved, to them, they were seduced by the Spanish and their charms.

So we are left, for our imagination's to run rampant, trying to fill in the blanks, to questions, they may be answered in time
Stonehenge, the Nazca Lines, the Great Wall of China, did primitive man have help in creating these?
We try to hear the ancient voices but they seem to remain as silent as a mime
Maybe if we listen carefully we can hear their voices, trying to tell us things on a very cool breeze.
