I read that

I read that

A Poem by Lana

I once read that
When you fall and wander
The universe will carry you
-On its back in the dark forrest
Or perhaps bringing you back to the start
You can never know where you're going
Until you try and
I've heard so many no's
For something as simple as a job
It made me wonder if I should fall
And if I will be cared for
Or perhaps I will be brought to the light
I can never know how it's going to be
Until I try and
I've heard that the guns have roses in them
And if I just shoot
I will be coated by petals
And smile to myself
For daring to try
I once read that
It only takes courage
And the so-called mirage will be a mirror
Of your self-pity and the tiny fields
You inherited
Were meant to be watered
And turned into the most beautiful garden
Green grass and cows
Horses and dogs
Never on a leash
Just eating
I've read that many successful painters and writers
And leaders decided to try
Many times by chance
They ended up shooting themselves in the foot
They were wearing shiny shoes too
But it's just the universe you know
You think you lose
And you're just one step closer
To a beautiful forrest
Lord knows
How it works
I suppose I must try
