Gone In The WindA Poem by LanaFear is nothing I haven't said in a thousand poems I cannot be taught about this fog that can destroy us And turn into a tornado of self-chaos But I went to school today And my teacher told me what fear is To not let it get to your head, it's not real It's just something that sounds good to your ear But when you experience it, it's another deal Ever since my house has been knocked down by this tornado My hopes and dreams fell down like a domino I felt my body floating down a river but it felt like a Bed; A warm bed and people threw flowers on my body Like a lost soul, it's too late, no more seed You gotta rebuild a new house with your own hands Look for the right materials And deal with the right animals But it's nothing you can't do Apparently fear gets you cause you have no clue How to react or understand that you can chew It out; and spit it out, you can do that can't you? Mister Teacher, always has a missing piece In his IKEA furniture, needs instructions But teaches us that fear is just a system Of thoughts and patterns that you can control When there is something called brain disorders It's funny to see our education system Show us videos about how the education system is fucked up And how everything is rigged but believing that their class makes a difference I don't know if people realize their own bullshit Or the crap of the world that splatters in their own faces But it's funny, I'm no better than them But at least I can see the s**t that's on my face You are probably reading this thinking What the hell did I waste my time in? But if you feel like it's the truth then you're alright in My eyes; I think you might be the one Who lift up your house when it was gone In the wind
