Dedicated 2 Michael Jackson

Dedicated 2 Michael Jackson

A Poem by Lana

dusk never seemed so bright
the twinkling lights of your Rollercoaster makes your eyes shine
the Golden Gates of eternal life are closing in on you everytime
as a reassurance that your Cage is safe and sound;
you try hard not to wish you were a tourist in a city
that you got everything you need
but as dawn appears
and you're standing still
looking up at this Land you've created
Neverland has never existed
and like trying to rekindle a light in a waxless candle
you try to relive a lifeless moment by showing kindness to others;
then the fear subsides when tourists visit your City
the City of a King, born in the land of the free
but has never felt more under lock and key
Jewelery, Gold Diamond incrusted Crystal clear
and a handful of paparazzi
looking to see the creature they've created ;
you find solace in the relaxing sound of your Fountain
but you are a bottomless pit of water
destined to collapse into itself
as people stop and stare
one question comes to everyone's lips
who has really known You?
