The Silent PsychologistA Poem by LlamaLord-
The weight of the world sits heavy and dark on my shoulders.
The night creeps past day revealing temperatures much colder. However, in the midst of it all, the black sky wraps around me. Blowing in the wind, it starts to form a shape around my whole body. I look into the moon only because the moon looks right back. It understands where I am and listens without a word of feedback. Through all I of this, I've found responses to my emotions useless. Loved ones attempt to help but always end up completely clueless. However, depression grows and grows from the seed of loneliness. A thick stalk of bad thoughts and roots built for sadness. Who can put an end to the terror we've all grown to find? Our world contains beauty but holds hatred and war behind. Protect the youth and look only at the bright side of life. We all have the power to see and hold happiness, but choose strife. Look into the life you hold and realize the power, so golden. Consume it's power and realize the positivity without words spoken. Day turns to night and sky is filled with hours of moonlight. Talk to the floating circle in the sky. See if it helps, it just might. © 2011 LlamaLordAuthor's Note
