So They Tell MeA Poem by LlamaLord-They tell me love is like a clock nailed up to the wall. Constantly hanging, bringing forth every second feeling like free-fall. Because when you give love and receive love there is a true connection. The movements, gestures, and words sound for frequent desperation. You call to her and she calls you. There is magic in way you move. You adore every bit of her. No skin has ever felt so smooth. Walk me on the trail into the depths of your beating life. Release all emotions from within the heart and lose yourself tonight.
But girl, love is a twisted thing that is left untold in fairy-tales. Sorry to keep you waiting, but it seems our hearts have failed. Take me in your arms anyway and let me cry within the warmth of a cotton shirt. Don't speak to me, for your voice only leaves me filled with more hurt. No one bother me. Let me be and let me rest the eyes I use to see. The image of your beauty leaves me with piles of hate. Let me be.
They tell me love is like a broken clock nailed up to the wall, Always wanting to tick, but never quite giving it it's all. © 2011 LlamaLordAuthor's Note
