Look Upon The Lesson Learned

Look Upon The Lesson Learned

A Poem by LlamaLord
"

This may be a little confusing. It has more personal value than an actual meaning.

"

I'll never forget what it's like to have someone.
The remains of my feelings can only come from
what we really had.

And I'll forget you because my heart holds decency.
My soul has the will-power and mercy to dispose of
your only memories.

Humbly, I wouldn't stow upon you the burden of another pain.
We are so alike, however, you accuse my emotions and actions
as being inhumane.

Now days, we forget the love, the passion, and the hope once endured.
We search upon lesser needs, instead of looking upon the lesson learned.

We look to strong addictions to keep our minds astray.
The overpowering of our minds cause the heart to decay.

With the heart now weakened, we look for love the next day.
Only to find another pain without a moment's delay.

Look upon the lesson learned.

Never give up on a love, that hasn't been officially adjourned.

Ah! That was....outstanding....
It is immensely thoughtful and deep, very intense and definitely touched me till the core.
There is just so much that we all can learn from this piece of writing...It doesn't matter wherever our life will take us or whatsoever it gives us, but what matters most is how we learn from the lesson and from that experience.
The way you have added your personal touch to it made it more intimating and intriguing.
Without any doubt, I have to say that my favorite lines has to be these-
"With the heart now weakened, we look for love the next day.
Only to find another pain without a moment's delay."- That was so true, personal indeed but I was somehow able to relate myself to it...It is very rare when we read something so well!
Very well penned...very very very well penned....Much mature than your chronological age.

You show a lot of compassion and forgiveness here... we must cherish love, even that we lose for it keeps our heart from losing faith. a beautiful write.
