Risen

Risen

A Poem by LlamaLord

Broken down by my own shallow feelings, my life stops.
The rushing of water smoothing out these dimpled rocks.
River flood to a pleasant new life. Happiness arrives.
I seek the Lord beyond all things as part of my life.
Continuing to love me, as always, he releases warmth.
Comfort of realization and the true passion once sunk;
once lost to the overbearing sea I now call a stream.
But the simplicity, as well as his glory, keeps me living.
Song birds sing to resolve my own issues forever more.
Risen from nothing but a nest, teaching us wonders galore,
Our Lord, Savior, reaches past his perfection to save us.
