Coldness

Coldness

A Poem by LlamaLord
"

Really like this one. Hope you do as well :)

"

The winter chill slices through my lungs, resulting in suffocation.
Harsh winds forced down my throat, hearing no communication.
The sharp edges of the blaring snow, send physical desolation.
Slicing into these gashes already made from the confrontation.
Meeting the wintry face of my life, I surpass the complication.
Falling to my knees, the arctic continues to cause penetration.
I contain my warmth, but the bloods hurting from discrimination.
My mind aching from desperation, collides with anger, detonation.
My arms cross my chest joining with the connection of composition.
These words drop out of my cold lips without description... Cold and frozen.

Whoa! That was really good.
I liked the description and imagery.
I feel like I got lost in your poem.
The words just took me away.
Good Job.

I really do like it... the vast emotions of desperation and despair are loud and clear... you really invoke the helpless feelings we face sometimes when facing life's tragedies.
