True Love, Finally

Something I wrote about the love of my life. Wrote this in fifteen minutes.

How could it be Lord? How in the world did you bring me such a blessing?
I’ve never cried tears of joy. But today you left me guessing.
How can she be so perfect? My heart cries out to her in need of attention.
She cannot be real Lord. I am blown away because I can’t comprehend it.
We are in love. It turns out, I have never experienced someone so special to me.
She is my other half. She is my angel. How on Earth could this be?
If everything happens for a reason, then she is only reason I need.
Happiness flows around me like a river, bringing me out towards the sea.
She’s beautiful in the most complex fashion. She’s simple, yet amazing. She was blessed with such passion.
I cannot let her go, I almost made that mistake before.
My vision was cloudy and I did not realize she would change the world.
She is sexy, funny and she is unbelievably sweet.
If caring was a competition, she could never be beat.
Please Lord, give me the strength to be the man of her dreams.
I will stop everything I’m doing because she is the only thing I need.
Words do not describe our relationship I’ve learned.
It’s too special. Too personal. A love like this has to be earned.
But what did I do to deserve such an amazing woman?
My life has been full of mistakes but she sees right through them.
She is smart Lord. She teaches me things every time we speak.
If love were a song, she would be the perfect beat.
I want the world to know of our love, but she always be mine.
I stood face to face with sadness, until she showed me love for the first time.
