Anticipation

Anticipation

A Poem by Lane
"

A daunting torture that halts in time for your love to come back can overwhelm your heart to the point of painful anticipation. This is an expression of that silent spoken word only you can hear.

"
the plexiglass taunts my view of such refinement of my imagination
I want to embrace him before he enters, receiving him with open arms
running propitiously forth this shinning armor while bursting through the seasoned leaves that piled the ground
roused by his valiant voice saying; "I'm almost there love" shivers my core
the plexied glass taunts my view, "Is he here yet"?

Author's Note

Lane
After 16 years and counting of being married to my middle school sweet heart, I still get butterflies when he walks through the door! This is for him!
