BeautyA Poem by LaneBeauty is taught to be viewed on the outside and rarely seen as a form of personality. Changing the way others define "Beauty" is why I wanted to express my thought on this matter.the truth behind this beauty is pale
weakened away through pain and defeat embodied with the emotions on her faceless stare what others may think is ugly and grotesque is blind to the story in her lines very few won't live to see her beauty that set upon her view for countless years her gaze can share a life story of lessons children she bore and raised descendents of followed beauty for reproduction to stay the same hunch-backed and a wooden cane is null when looked upon the pure color of her hair all but an unpainted salt and pepper that flowed in the wind as she strolled stagnant but yet poised this beauty tells her story through the grace in her voice when spoken history wears on her face © 2015 Lane |
