Unreasonable NostalgiaA Poem by Tai RyensHow is it then I remain nostalgic for the future? From whence did memories emerge the chasms of faith; flooded with the misery of quivering eyes, and the foreseeable scars reanimating beneath the saliva of a gliding tongue.
Yet I continued to long for the days seated across from you, Caribbean rum bubbling within our mouths as I plant a dusty kiss on your untouched lips, knowing you wet for me in secrecy, for me, and nobody else.
How is it then I remain nostalgic for the future?
Peppers of love charred my stomach, and empty, clutching hands scented by vomit grasped desperately for you upon the thought of him undressing you, or, you undressing him.
Literally speaking, death whispered in my ears during evening insanity, and so did you as my eyes blushed with sorrow, and I couldn't help but crave your voice. © 2013 Tai RyensAuthor's Note
