Collision

Collision

A Poem by Tai Ryens
"

if only i could not peer once more, and find you are leaving, yet again . . .

"

pleased am i to row orbits around you,

despite being a desolate crater

among planetesimals, circling the fiery

sphere of hydrogen boiling;

and you are just that:

a condensing sun

if only i could collide with you,

the very most beautiful consumption

of eventide, as you lolled

over the horizon and took my place;

if only i could not peer once more,

and find you are leaving,

yet again;

if only you could simply

devour every last bit of me,

so that i may never see

the light of dusk vanish

as she fled from me

ever so elated i would feel

to have been absorbed by

your warmth,

soothing, as i smooched

the galaxy farewell,

a night no longer

destined to happen,

and surrendered to a lifetime

inside you

This is an utterly romantic read....I want to be devoured now!

if only i could collide with you,
the very most beautiful consumption
of eventide, as you lolled
over the horizon and took my place

Love that verse, and the word 'smooched'...ha, just love this one!

Thank you, your comments are always appreciated~
You have always been such a romantic . . . always with dark beginnings and dark ends.
This seems to be an extension of titling someone a sun, where, when the sun dies a black hole is left in it's wake. It's better to die with the one you love, then to live with their absence.
