Somehow, I feel some sado-maso stuff going on here haha! Where the sadism of those razor-edged butterflies is inflicting the sweetest pain in your stomach and the masochism side of yours is enjoying it..
Quite paradoxical in a way too if I can say.. A feel of unrequited love, a one-sided infatuation..all unveiled through your piercing words. Awesome.

butterflies in the stomach, like people who get nervous, antsy, jealous. letting loose the pain and unease of one's problems. misery loves company, eh? great metaphor, very graphic, almost beautiful, in that dark way. great write :)
i see graphic descriptive pain in this short poem...

Kind of . . . an anchor in my stomach, at the same time I don't mind heaving it about.

Certain things/feelings become comforting while depressed, I get that.
I must start that I am not as active as I should be on this site, though I do tend to drop by every now and then and review what I can from friends and those whose works I enjoy. Currently, I am dippi.. more..
