Final BalladA Poem by Tai Ryenstwo thieving persons depreciated by greed . . .Two tons of gold and moreover, two thieving persons depr'ciated by greed stood with pride never to cower or brush upon death; were they able to bleed
How grand the final ballad was behind the steel-doored vault!; how lusting the diamond prize was that takes form as a rotten heart; she had drawn the smoking gun and with a shot the other fell; and he frowned upon the action done weeping out to the heaven and hells
“How glamorous was thy heart's worth of which is mine to keep,” said she while lulling him with words containing promises to meet in sleep
And thus did he live the most bittersweet of days, lighted by blissful joy but darkened by disgrace © 2012 Tai RyensAuthor's Note
