![]() HauntedA Poem by Tai Ryens![]() Who I could've been . . .![]() Echoes do entice ripples amid the still waters of my existence, for I hear the pressure of judgment, as well as the whispers of silence
ambitions for memories not-to-be trap me within the walls of my heart, left to reminisce prior moments no more and the haunting adulation of past art; left to grasp the remainder of who I could've been, left with every vanishing dream gone stale, had I only forsaken them long ago, perhaps then I could've crawled out this shell
and presently am I imprisoned here, left to endure strikes of hatred in this accursed house, only then did I realize, the malice resonated from my own mouth © 2012 Tai RyensAuthor's Note
