KissesA Poem by Tai RyensKiss of a gun . . .
Gaping lips shrouding copper tongues; lingering; anticipating kisses to be given one by one: praying that fingers resting on cold triggers slip; frosty skin to be warmed by the barrel of a gun. I craved nothing more than ecstasy; 'twas found contained in rusted steel tainted by past owners' blood: whose lives ended in nothing more of a click and artificial fangs leaking venom into algific veins leading to their hearts
Eternities of longing for the antidote against seclusion led to this very moment: osculating towards the end of the gun; prepared to digest medicine to cure depression; & Click. © 2012 Tai RyensAuthor's Note
