Objects Trouves

Objects Trouves

A Poem by Neil Mukherjee Esq.

Objects Trouvés

African carvings

and unique utensils

adorn his home.

From room to room,

 shelf to shelf

and along the sill

of the photobolic screen,

the surrealist’s possessions

reveal insight to his name.

An architect’s life

treasured with

painted pebbles,

these objects trouvés

mean so much to him.

Overlooking Hampstead Heath

the items peer through the window

beckoning us to pay a visit

to Willow Road’s most

treasured home

with collections on display.
