Hold my hands
Come close
Time is short
See it flows...

I want you
I want your love
Your living spirit
The flying dove

Place your steps
On this sand
Catch your freedom
Your magic wand

Touch the cheeks
Touch the lips
The golden hair
The glowing clips

I am waiting for you
With souls apart
Place your ears
On my heart

O boy how I love you
If only you would know
See the twinkling stars
Clearly they show

My Romeo
My Hamlet
My Othello
My Fate
A third grade poem
Is all I have made

Still place your steps
On this golden sand
I will follow you
Like a woman mad.
