Once Upon a Perfect Smile

Written before the engagement, now I know this is my happy ending!!!

 

I lived in a world

Of sadness and pain.

Hope was cast out of my mind.

My everyday life

Made me feel like

Nothing of joy

Could come my way.

 

Then...

Once upon a dream

Just like a fairytale

My prince charming rode up,

White horse and all

And took me out of

My nightmare life.

 

I don't know if I'm riding off into the sunset...

I don't know if the nightmare is over...

I can't be sure this is my happy ending...

But for now

I don't care.

 

Right now my heart is full...

Right now my life feels right...

And right now even I can't deny the love I have

So...

Right now that is all that matters.
