Reflections Deflection

Reflections Deflection

A Poem by LadyRouge

Today I held my head
Up high,
Had that extra step in my walk,
Smiled when he said hi,
But something happened
From then to now;
I saw myself
In that mirror and
It couldn’t have been me.
I suddenly saw all the
IMPERFECTION....
I realized that I was only me
A SIMPLE FACE,
A SIMPLE BODY,
A SIMPLE GIRL.
