Writer's AnticipationA Poem by LadyRougeThe wind carries My silent sorrows. Aching hearts surround My vision within. I want to be as well as any other. Shaking hands. Twitching all over. Mindless thought, And I know The ANSWERS. Eyelids fastened shut. I don’t want To know what Lies beneath the Light. Sitting. All smileS I Have know are Forgotten, Left to a World that the Light will never see. Pencils twirling. Pens dancing. Paper waiting To receive words I don’t have anymore. © 2008 LadyRouge |
