Pieces of the puzzle

Pieces of the puzzle

A Poem by Danielle Duff
"

Love, as a puzzle. Soulmates, as pieces of the puzzle.

"

You

came to me

that night, I

was in awe

Your face lit by candle

light. Your arm brushed mine-it was electricity

I knew you were my puzzlepiece  You didn't laugh.

Smiling, you said I didn't know

it would be

this easy to be

a puzzle

piece

Some

where along

the way The piece

wore with tear I went my

way and you, you

went yours

You

took your

piece and I took mine

I wonder if we will ever find

a match

to our pieces

again

Touching poem. Made me emotional... love it!
Great structure. I really like it and the wording was just right.
Keep it up! :D
