The Clover

The Clover

A Poem by Faelyn ó Cuilinn

Your green luck surrounds me
and I wait for the wish.
The one I dreamed of
when I sat beneath the rainbow...

I can't wait till spring
so I can see your leaves.
Watch your vines twine
and whistle in the breeze.

Your luck I will cherish
though times may get old.
I trust in good old Saint Patrick,
to keep the dream alive.

Now watch the grass she sways.
Flicking in the wind.
The Goddess watches down on me
as Tir na nOg awaits...

Now I see your petals
all four of them to see.
Your luck I wish upon this green
piece that Padraig sends me.

Awe, such a fine write!! I envisioned that I too was on your hillside; breathing in the sweet scents of the springtime, hoping to fine my four leaf clover and a bit of luck. You put a smile upon my face.

I love this stanza. I feel like I can see you sitting on the hill writing this dreamy poem. Very cheery!
