A Poem by Pointblank

Spyderman

I long for your written word

and yet I do not see

the pop-up saying you've come on

and want to talk to me

Im shocked when you do appear

my face takes on a glow

my heart skips a beat

my eyes do sometimes close

I dream of what you may feel

is there really something there

that connects our very souls

through the typing in that square

I asked once did you miss me

You printed the word yessss

my smile could have met my brows

with that extra added s

I really do not know you

Am I desperate for a friend

Are you just another dope

that will hurt me in the end

I want to touch your chest

the heat of breath upon my ear

give myself the gift of love

oh how I wish that you were here

We have never spoken

the words of lust online

but I just can't help but feel you

and wish that you were mine.

Really excellant write. I liked the rhyme and the flow was perfect. It's is true sometimes on-line "dating/talking/typing" can get you into trouble and there may well be a "dope" at the other end, but then you never really know unless you try... good job ;)
