Wife for sale

Wife for sale

A Poem by Pointblank

You don’t look at me anymore

like that

Others do

You don’t care to be close

like that

Others try

You don’t walk with me

Talk with me

Kiss my neck

Or nibble my ears

You say there is no truth to my fears

Others do

I’ve told you I see our end in sight

I’ve asked you to help us find the light

I want to turn your head day and night

I must be a pitiful sight

You turn me away in my search for a thrill

What can I do

When others will

Sad he does not know what it is to have a relationship of love. Hope he wakes up. It is a tragedy of life when people short change the relationships they have. They are lost in a delusion. Your patience is a virtue. Good write, thanks.

How terribly disappointing. The magic is gone, so what else is there to wait around for. I've been to this place at least a couple of times in my life and I could merrily go the rest of my life never visiting this place again. So well said, so sad.
