Spine

Spine

A Poem by Elisabeth
"

A sonnet

"

Worry drips in long rivlets
Down what remains of your spine
Floor covered with blood soaked cigarettes
Held with brine and fleshy twine

The night lights shine
In a mockery of joy
This pain so devine
This love will destroy

What is your wish
As you lay diseased

No more breaths than a wounded fish

The worry slowly eased

Silver tounged demon of light

Sinning with your bite
