Alone

Alone a word so misunderstood,
so misused.
Alone to be surrounded by many.
Many who can never learn to understand.
So often do those left alone try to be together.
But so often are they unsuccessful.
for those who are alone no not of companionship
nor friendship.
Often we pretend,
we try and be like you.
No matter how hard we try.
for to be alone we lost all track of humanity.
for we are not human.
We are alone
