AM I HUMAN

I live in a world without my kind.

I am different,

does this mean I am not human.

My family talks before listening.

They hear details of what they hear.

Do they understand me.

Or is it them they only understand

could it be true.

does being different make me inhuman.

am I not one of you because I think different

maybe I would be better off dead

YES.

A blade is better then my existence

The blade hurts,

perhaps this is what I should I have done so long ago

This feeling everyone can relate to for we all have are moments that we feel like we don't fit in, even myself, but u have to always remember that there no one like each other, and that we are all different in are on ways. Very well put poem tho

Thanks for your review. This poem is effective. I think many people have this feeling. My aunt told me as a young girl, she did not feel "OF" her family. She always had her nose in a book, crossing the street, on the toilet. Her parents did not read much. She grew up to find her own kind. Even though speaker may have the feeling that the blade is better, hopefully he/she will look to the future and finding their own kind out in the world.

Here is my guideline, G: I urge you to become a student of spelling. I use dictionary.com all the time. For many eyes, misspellings dilute the content of your work and attack your credibility as a writer.
