Cherish NowA Poem by Dee Lacythoughts on living in the presentCherish Now
Cherish Now Wrapped up in tomorrow, watching present pass away Too concerned about the future, wasting the now of today, Don’t worry about tomorrow, it may never come Today is what’s important, relish every crumb. Feast upon each morsel, taste the here and now I can offer you suggestions, but I cannot tell you how. Discover what’s important, and cling to it so tight Don’t throw away this moment, in hopes of dawn’s new light. Cherish every sunrise, bask in each new dawn Don’t worry about tomorrow, for today will soon be gone. Live just for the moment, hug the ones you love We’ve no promise of tomorrow, or another dream thereof.
