You bring me home

You bring me home

A Poem by lindsay

These inexplicable feelings
are like waves cresting on the mast.
It is you and I again.
It is you and I at last.

All I could ask for is
my love to also be my best friend.
You give me so much more
and our heart never ends.

Although you are there and I am here
our hearts do not roam.
Space means nothing
for we bring each other home.

This expression of love is tender and lifting... the essence of home found in each other. And I agree wholeheartedly.. what more could one ask for but for your love to be your best friend. Nothing better!
