Fly with you

Your smile catches my eye

in the darkest of night 

and brightest of day.

It takes me a new level

of a natural high.

Our hands are connecting 

as we lay there intertwined.

It is these moments that allow us to fly.

I think it's your shortest poems that I like best. You're able to pack so much into just a few lines.
Most interesting is that the smile catches your eye in both the dark night and the bright days. Often an individual's ability to find that "smile" so to speak, is conditional, either on hard days or on good days alone. But here it shows that both are possible, and through this you can "fly".
