There is a reason

 It was a summer dream
for everything was not what it seems.
The stars shone with a brilliant  iridescent light
and I believe that's when we were in love, it was at first sight.
We would walk on water, we danced in the rain,
our emotions were flowing, there was no restraint.
The trees billowed as the wind blew,
this world is fantastical and I would not want to be in it with anyone, but you.
As the sun rose over the warm horizon,
I thought to myself quietly, things do happen for a reason.
There you were so silently laying,gazing-
your eyes glistened gloriously as we watched in amazement.
