We are all wandering,
in search-
for something in this lonely world.
We all suffer-
have pain and struggle.
We are all longing,
grasping for a hand-
to pull us out of the darkness.
There is one thing that connects us all-
I've read this a few times now. I love it.
At first we can see a familiar depressing tone.
But much like life, it's almost easy to overlook how uplifting and inspirational the ending is.
The things that we search for and are missing. The things that tear us apart are shared by everyone.
No one is alone because everyone else feels the same way.
So much hope. I like this so much because you ended it with a line inspiring hope. You are one of these people who can see the light in even the darkest situations. I really liked the last line, thank you for sharing!
this poem at first seems depressing, but deeper than that lies a sense of hope. I like the part about the hand searching for someone or something to pull us out of the darkness. Great image and concept.
I liked this poem it was so inspiring and very true we are all indeed looking for a key to unlock our hearts to free us from the shackles which chain us down each and every day,the heart is always yerning for more adventure more romance and a chance to live a little,we can only learn if we use a trial by error mentality it is impossible to achieve perfection on the first attempt at attaining our goals.
In relationships our hearts and minds must strive for contentment where happiness might be unavailable,we must have the courage of our convictions and always smile with the world as it will surely smile back at us.
Your poem is very short but to the point and like others have said can be read time and time again whenever we are blighted by misfortune and our darkest hour has arrived fortitude and strength can be attained by just reading a few powerful and thought provoking and uplifting words of wisdom.
wow, this is amazing, and what struck me most, the dynamic flow... the quality of the metaphor
reflecting the depth of the meaning, to boil understanding down to the beating heart and
its ability to hold like memories, the things we treasure most. the flow has brilliant prowless.
It's short and you can read it over and over again in limited time, the more I read it the more it makes sense, this request was worth reading
thanks for sharing, keep up the good work
