How Do You Say Goodbye?

How Do You Say Goodbye?

A Poem by laceyjane23
"

You never know when it will be your last chance to say goodbye.

"

How do you say goodbye to someone who's already gone?

How do you make it right, when you feel its all wrong?

How do you say goodbye to someone who isn't there?

How do you hold on when it seems life's just not fair?

How do you say goodbye to someone taken from their youth?

How do you deal with life's brutal truth?

How do you say goodbye to someone who isn't here?

How do you move on when your so full of fear?

How do you say goodbye to someone you can't see?

How do you keep them close when their just a memory?

How do you ease the pain when all you do is cry?

Please tell me... how do you say goodbye?

hey hun thanks for the comment on my poem, so i decided to retrun the favore
This is a beautiful poem, and that is amazing that im saying this cause i dont normally
care for repetative poems, (mostly cause i wrote the ones i hate ^^)
The only part i didnt really care for is

"How do you say goodbye to someone who isn't here?"
and
"How do you say goodbye to someone who isn't there?"

these two are to closely the same thing so it seems like your reapeating yourself.

I mean this is a good poem but it just needs those two fixed up.

here are some sugestions you can completely ignore

"how do you say goodbye to someone who left us here"
"how do you say goodbye to the one who has flown away"

or something like that..

anyway good write keep it up and all that stuff

i like the message here but i don't like the forced rhyming. dig deeper hon. you don't even need to rhyme. you've had an interesting life and seen things you'd rather have not seen..., let us feel that in your words..., let us inside your world, inside your mind. open up more :D

Faerie Blessings!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that worries about grammar and punctuation errors.

Your poem is wonderful.

I'm in the process of writing a poetry book of a poet that is inspired by a beautiful woman. They fall in love, she does not know he writes poetry and all through the years he keeps it hidden up until his death she reads his last poem "A Poets Last Breath" this poem is on my page.

It opens her heart to unearthed words that she has always wanted to tell him and now hes gone.

Anyway this poem of yours made me think of it.

How do we say goodbye. Nice work little lady.
